October: 25 October 2005; Kardelen performed at the World Bank's Annual Celebration of Cultures.; 3 October 2005; Kardelen performed for the Luxury Travel Expo held in Philadelphia, PA on behalf of Flo-USA, one of the key sponsors of the event.; 2 October 2005; Kardelen participated in the 3rd Annual Turkish festival in Washington, DC. It took place on 14th and Pennsylvania Aves, right in the heart of the city. We performed many of the dance in our repertoire and held a workshop to teach audience members basic dances in Turkish folk dance.; 1 October 2005; Kardelen took part in the Second Annual Dance DC Festival. Members taught a workshop as part of its Family Dance Workshops series at Dance Place.
September: 17 September 2005; Kardelen performed for the Luxury Travel Expo held at the Javits Convention Center, New York City, New York on behalf of Flo-USA, one of the key sponsors of the event.
August: 21 August 2005; A small group of Kardelen members performed for the Veltri family and their friends in Harvard, MA.
July: 13 July 2005; Kardelen performed for students participating in Howard University’s Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center’s Ninth Annual International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program (IASEP) for high school students.
June: 30 June 2005; Kardelen took part in Cross Cultures, a multicultural gala to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.; 19 June 2005; Kardelen performed for the winners of the United States Institute of Peace’s Annual National Peace Essay Concert Winners.; 14 June 14 2005; Global Showcase of the Celebration of Cultures, IMF.
May: May 6, 2005; Kardelen will take part in the Annual Philadelphia International Children's Festival - the oldest festival of its kind in the United States, and is regarded as one of the top ten in the world.
April: 30 April 2005; Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts, 2nd International Festival,Van Dyck Park, Fairfax, VA.; 23 April 2005; NATOfest is a celebration of cultures highlighting different aspects of all 26 NATO member nations. Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Norfolk, VA.; 22 April 2005; A Mosaic of Dance, (World Bank) a benefit for the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund which awards scholarships to women from developing countries.; 16 April 2005; Virginia International Children’s Festival; 8 April 2005; Georgetown University's Annual I-Party; 6 April 2005; World Bank's annual Staff Week .; 2 April 2005; The third annual World Dance Showcase explored cultural expressions of the Muslim world with its concert, "Dancing in Islamic Lands" at the Public Playhouse.
January: 15 January 2005; Kardelen took part in Asian Fortune's Tsunami Relief Benefit. The benefit took place at the Fort Myer Military Community Activities Center and had several State and Congressional representatives in attendance and raised $14,000.
